Anniversary 2012 {Staycation}

Husband and I celebrated our four year anniversary this weekend by staying at the Hotel Valley Ho, here in Phoenix, well, technically, Scottsdale.  It was super fun, and our first baby free night since Cupcake was born!  Can you believe she's slept in bed with us for the past 21 months?! She had a great time with her uncle Wayne and aunt Gretchen.  And had fun too...

Husband opening his gift box.
I booked this place strictly because of that tub.
I like that the side of this building reminds me of the sprinkles we saw at A.J.s
We stopped at P.F. Chang's for some happy hour snacks before our real date.  I thoroughly enjoyed my Asian Pear Mojito.
I forgot to pack my brush! BUT, was somehow able to braid my hair anyway.
All dressed up for our real date!  Dress complements of Desert Gypsy Mama!
We tried Stingray for the first time.  A little loud for a romantic date, but the Sushi was good and the sake was even better!
On the walk back to our hotel we passed a ton of art galleries in Old Town Scottsdale.
I loved this giant head!
So, remember that tub?! This was probably my favorite feature of our room.
Who doesn't love a "Mood" light?!
Before.
After.
I ordered the Brioche lemon french toast with berries and Husband had some coffee.
They brought this adorable flower with the food too.
Not the BEST brioche I've ever had, but close!
I love these cabanas with mirrors that look like windows!

I thought it would be good time to plan some lessons and update my schedules...

I may or may not have fallen asleep instead.

And that was our weekend, hope you had a great one too!

Freebie Friday no. 1 {Happy Anniversary Printables!}

Free anniversary printables!

I thought since Husband doesn't read my blog, I share these before our anniversary staycation.  My gift to him this year is a little bit of a care package which I'll be giving to him at our hotel.

I'm giving him his favorite cupcakes with the tag; "eat me"
his favorite beverage; "drink me"
a sweet little somthing with the tag; "kiss me"
a love letter with the envelope tag; "read me"
a gift of whiskey rocks with the tag; "open me"
and the whole box will have the tag "Love, me"

Feel free to download and print the heart tags out and add them to your future valentine's or anniversary gift packages.

Anniversary Week 2012; The Honeymoon

I never shared our Honeymoon photos here on the blog and I can't believe it was already 4 years ago today that we were married!
Norway.
China.
China.
Holland.
Italy.
Morocco.

Oh wouldn't that have been nice.  My mom sent us to Florida so we actually went to Epcot center for a day and spent the rest of the week at the beach and in our hotel.

St. Augustine.
Ripley's Museum.

Hope you all are having a lovely day.  Today I'm enjoying my sweet little family, as Husband and I celebrate 4 years of marriage which puts us just shy of 10 years together!

Anniversary Week 2012; The {Bachelor &} Bachelorette Party

One of the most significant events or ceremonies of a wedding is the bachelor party.  But what about the women?  What do they do? How do they celebrate?  Well, here's my bachelorette party and all the women who made my coming of age ceremony worthy of sharing on my blog...

We kept it classy starting the evening with a spa treatment,
followed by dinner out at Malee's Thai Bistro.
My sister and Janay
An inside joke, sort of.
Notice our shoes? Amber ALWAYS has the best shoes!
Both of these lovely ladies are now expecting mamas! how the time flies!
What's with the costume jewelry?!

As a way to keep the night entertaining, my friends purchased plastic jewelry from the nearby target. I was "dared" into tasks that resulted in the jewelry prizes.  I was so good at my dares, that we actually got cut off from the bar.  Even though, I'd only had drinks.  I keep it lively even when I'm sober or only slightly intoxicated.

ONE of the two drinks and look at all those dares I already completed.
please exsuce the poor quality, some of these were downloaded off of myspace page when my hard drive crashed last year.
These gals are some of the best I know!  I love looking back on this time, thankful for all the great friendships I had/have.

OH! but what about the bachelor?  What did he do?
Him and his friends enjoyed a nice day at Big Surf.
Parking lot pre-party fun.
groomsman.
groom.
My Father in law offered to buy them all Ice cream at the end of the day.
How could they say no?

So, there's one more glimpse into my premarital past.
Hope you enjoyed it, more photos of the wedding to come.
I can't believe how much these friends have and have not changed in the past four years.

Hope you're enjoying Anniversary Week here on the blog.
