Honest to Blog!

So, I've seen this Honest Company on pinterest a few times and I finally clicked on the link to check it out.  The company was founded by Jessica Alba, not only an actress, but also a mom.  I loved that when I looked at the ingredients, they were actually good ingredients....

I tried the free sample with "the essentials" and the diapers.  We love cloth diapers but I thought I'd try these adorable disposables, since we're going to do a combo. of cloth and disposable while in Europe.  The trial was free plus shipping ($5.95). If you're a consistent disposable user they have monthly plans which ship the diapers straight to your door.  Pretty great, because no one likes running out of something and rushing to the store.  

Anyway, here's what I got...

Also, I was stoked to get this practically overnight, so I'd have it in time for a quick trip to New York City with the girls,  I didn't have to go out and buy mini travel shampoos or laundry detergent I got them in this pack!  Also, I'm thrilled I now have a mini stash of wipes for the plane ride.  Holla!

If you're planning on traveling anytime soon, I highly suggest Honest Company's Trial for the travel sized "essentials," alone!

Freebie Friday no. 2 {Weekly Toddler Care Chart}

This Friday I wanted to share a little chart I made for Sonja and I to get into a better routine.

I wanted to make sure, when I teach, the people watching her know what's going on and where to take over.  Since the people we trust her with are a select group, they know what to expect.  So, I don't have to be extremely specific, but I do need to tell them if she's eaten or if they need to feed her, offer her water or get her ready for certain activities, like naps and such.

I thought since Husband doesn't read my blog, I share these before our anniversary staycation.  My gift to him this year is a little bit of a care package which I'll be giving to him at our hotel.

I'm giving him his favorite cupcakes with the tag; "eat me"

his favorite beverage; "drink me"

a sweet little somthing with the tag; "kiss me" 

a love letter with the envelope tag; "read me"

a gift of whiskey rocks with the tag; "open me" 

and the whole box will have the tag "Love, me"  

Feel free to download and print the heart tags out and add them to your future valentine's or anniversary gift packages.
